Grant Funding Application

Carbon County Montana

Funds Available:

Carbon County Commissioners plan to make up to $1,041,603 of the County’s American Rescue Plan Act funding available as direct grants. They are also considering projects for potential Community Development Block Grant planning projects.

 

Applicants:

Non-profits, businesses, and Carbon County Special Districts are eligible to apply. Limit of one project application per entity.

 

Scoring

Applications will be scored on:

  • Match rate (25% minimum)
  • Applicants’ efforts to seek other funding.
  • Project’s connection to Treasury’s funding objectives as outlined at www.treasury.gov/SLFRP.
  • Benefit of project to local residents and the longevity of that benefit.

Finalists and large project applications may need to make oral presentations.

 

Applications Due: June 18th at 5:00 pm

 

Project awards will take place after the State has awarded projects under the Grant program established in HB 632. Depending on the nature of projects funded, half of the project may be funded in the 2021-2022 fiscal year and half in the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
